noir complet

an oldie but a goodie this little paris vogue layout is circa 2008 back when carine was still at the helm (yes i admit that i miss her name at the top of the masthead). fashion may be an industry where trends change at an increasing rate but this perfectly styled shoot is proof positive that some things (head to toe black and masculine touches for example) never go out of style.

minimal dressing

vanessa traina looking simple, sleek and effortless (in a celine jumpsuit if i'm not mistaken) outside a show in paris. i'm sure i don't have to tell you that the girl consistently makes impeccable sartorial choices. and how about that balenciaga clutch??!

transformer

anja rubik, hedi slimane and melanie ward make for a fabulous fashion trifecta in the latest issue of V magazine. anja dons outfits fit for a rock groupie...or perhaps goddess and yet again hedi flawlessly captures the moment. what more could a girl ask for?

leather and lace

christine centenerra at the paris couture shows. how good is this ensemble? the lace dress was one of my favorite pieces from the lover spring collection and combined with leather...well that always makes for a winning combo.

tough love

as much as i wish hedi slimane would return to designing (preferably a women's collection) i really love him as a photographer.his images are always clean, minimal and flawless. for the august issue of vogue nippon he teamed up with sasha p clad in pieces from the likes of ysl, gucci, haider ackermann and ann demeulemeester.
